The KS 2000iHS CO is dual-fuel inverter generator - compact, 41.8 lb, grab-and-go build, it runs on gasoline or propane, with the hose and regulator included in the box. That means you can burn gas when you want full power, or switch to propane you already keep for the grill - propane doesn't go stale sitting in a shed all year, which matters if this generator's job is to sit ready until an emergency. Pure sine wave output, a CopperCore copper-wound alternator, and a built-in CO safety shutoff round it out. It's not a whole-house unit - it's the one you keep charged and ready for camping trips, tailgates, and the nights the power just goes out.

Dual Fuel: Gasoline or Propane

Runs on both fuels, and the hose with pressure reducer for connecting a propane cylinder ships in the box. It also works with a stationary propane tank (gasholder) if connected by a certified specialist, with supply pressure capped at 16 bar. Gasoline gives full rated power; propane runs about 10% lower but stores indefinitely — the fuel you want on hand when you don't know how long an outage will last. Important first-start tip: always start the engine on gasoline first, then switch over to propane once it's running.

Clean Power

A microprocessor-controlled inverter holds output to a clean 120V/60Hz sine wave, suitable for the reliable operation of sensitive electronics - laptops, phones, and equipment like a CPAP - without the flicker or risk of a rough-power generator.

CopperCore Brushless Alternator

A brushless permanent-magnet alternator wound with 100% copper, not the cheaper copper-clad aluminum found in budget units. Sealed in a durable housing, built to handle maximum load without damage.

Robust Dual-Fuel Engine with CO Safety Shutoff

The proprietary K&S 100i-H engine (79.7cc, 3.3 hp) is built for wear resistance and long, stable operation on either fuel, and meets current emission standards for a cleaner exhaust. An integrated CO sensor monitors carbon-monoxide levels around the generator continuously and shuts the engine down automatically if levels get dangerous — a backstop, not a license to run indoors.

Eco Mode

A dedicated fuel-economy switch drops engine speed to match the load, cutting fuel use by up to 50% at light loads - useful whichever fuel you're running on.

Ergonomic Control Panel

Eerste start was lastig. Dacht met gas te kunnen starten maar trok me een ongeluk. Tien benzine erin en gelijk starten en dan kan je overschakelen naar gas.
Maar perfect apparaat!!
